The number of playing applications for the Autum term exceeded our allowed capacity so, reluctantly, we have had to ballot for membership. All those who have applied should now have received an email confirming the decision.

Those who have been offered a place must pay the playing member fee (£78) in advance of the first rehearsal (payment deadline 30 August) to confirm their place, otherwise it will be passed on to those on the reserve list.
It is a tribute to our continuing popularity the we attract large numbers of applicants, but it does mean that some people may be disappointed on occasion (though they will get priority next time around). Meanwhile, we are beginning to look at ways in which we might add extra activities to address this capacity issue.
