We have been asked to share the following message and help try to find these stolen instruments. As musicians we can all understand how distressing this must be. A number of our members know the people involved so this is a cause close to our community. Thanks.

STOLEN VIOLIN AND VIOLA. Taken from Glasgow RSNO Centre on Saturday 30th December 2017 . One violin with Hill stamp “ X397” in light grey Jakob Winter case ( blue inside ) with two bows by 1)Lotte and 2) W.E Hill and son. Also,one Fernando Solar viola made in Madrid, 1970, no 16 in dark blue hard shiny case. Penzel bow. Huge sentimental value. Reward of £1000 for return of each instrument.
My colleague and I are devastated by this, and would be so grateful if anyone has any information
