I wanted to say how proud we should all be for the performance we gave at the Concert last night. We enjoyed it, the audience enjoyed it and it was fun – what more could you ask?
Can I also take this opportunity to thank you all again for the very kind and generous presentation made to me earlier this month (I have been away since). I was very touched by the gifts and kind words, as it has been a pleasure and a privilege to be your first chair and I am so pleased that Merchant Sinfonia goes from strength to strength. Thank you to Gib for organising the presentation.
Finally, my thanks again to all the Committee who have worked so hard for us all. I know that Merchant Sinfonia is in very good hands under Allison now and we should all give her our support as we move forward.
