I’m organising a Wind Quintet /Small Wind Ensemble Retreat at Parcevall Hall in the Yorkshire Dales from 4pm on Friday 4th August until 4pm on Sunday 6th August.
I would be very grateful if you could please pass on the details of the retreat to any flute, oboe, clarinet, french horn and bassoon players in your orchestra.
All but one of our tutors are members of The Orchestra of Opera North. Our French Horn Tutor, Naomi Atherton, is the principal horn player of the Manchester Camerata and of the Northern Chamber Orchestra. Our Opera North Tutors are as follows:
Flute – Kevin Gowland
Oboe – Richard Hewitt
Clarinet – Andrew Mason
Bassoon – David Baker
This retreat is for players of flute, oboe, clarinet, french horn and bassoon and is open to individuals, as well as pre-existing ensembles of all standards.
