Do you want to make music? Then come and take part in our creative music workshop celebrating BBC Music Day!

We’re creating an orchestra and choir of all ages and abilities: led by composer Tim Steiner and guided by vocal guru Anna Flannagan along with members of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

If you’re a complete novice or an experienced amateur, come and spend the day in the company of professional musicians from the BBC SSO at Pacific Quay. It’s perfect for all the family to take part together.

Everyone gets a chance to join in and be creative. Inspired by BBC Music Day this event will mix Beethoven and Brian Wilson into a new musical piece – entirely made by you!

Almost any instrument you can carry can take part: from accordion to trumpet, violin to clarsach, bassoon to bagpipes. If you have just started to learn an instrument or you have been playing for years, bring it along and perform as part of the group. You don’t need to read music and if you don’t have an instrument anyone can sing in the choir, or play percussion.
