Two updates…
(1) Please note that for the first rehearsal we shall be starting with two pieces (the Humperdinck and the Polovtsian Dances) for which Mitchell Library copies will be supplied for everyone – so no need to rush with the printing! But you will not be able to take the library parts away. This will allow strings in particular to sort out first/second parts, etc.
(2) Apologies for some mistake/confusion: for The Hebrides, please select from the first (Julius Rietz) edition, since this has transposed parts for horns and trumpets. We will try to get the clarinet A parts transposed for those who need them.
