Helensburgh Concert – Clare Rankin

Helensburgh Orchestral Society’s next concert on Saturday 29th March is being dedicated to the memory of cellist and horn player Clare Rankin, who also played horn with Merchant Sinfonia. Clare died from cancer in June last year and at the concert there will be a collection for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The concert is at 7.45pm on Saturday 29th March in the Victoria Halls, Sinclair Street, Helensburgh, G84 8TU. Tickets cost £10/£6 student (primary school children get in free when accompanied by an adult) and are available from orchestra members and at the door on the night. The programme, under the baton of conductor Robert Baxter, is:
