We are pleased to announce that all applications for playing membership in the coming term are now confirmed.
The playing membership subscription has been set at £78 for this term, and payment must be received before the first rehearsal. Full details are given in the email that has been circulated to everyone we have on the list. We still have a few vacancies, especially in the viola and brass sections, so please spread the word. Late applications can be made by email to [email protected]
Rehearsals will be in Studio 1 at City Halls. Please sign in at the Albion Street (Stage) Door. Dates are as follows:
September 10, 17, 24
October 1, 8, 22, 29 (NB 15th is half-term so no rehearsal that night)
November 5, 12, 19, 26
December 3
The concert will be in the Grand Hall at City Halls on THURSDAY 5 December at 7.30, with a rehearsal in the Hall beforehand at 6.00pm.
Congratulations to everyone in the working party for all their efforts in getting us to this stage in the “new” Merchant Sinfonia. From keeping us informed of progress throughout the summer to enrolment, must have taken up so much of their own free time, that we can only say a big thank you. Here’s to a great first session “on our own”.
