Play it again, again…

From the BBC SSO – this is sort of where Merchant Sinfonia started a few years ago…

Do you want to make music?
15 February Eden Court, Inverness 10am–1pm
16 February City Halls, Glasgow 11am–2pm
If you’re a complete novice or an experienced amateur musician, join professional musicians from the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and take part in a special workshop and performance at Eden Court, Inverness and City Halls, Glasgow. Perfect for all the family, bring your instruments along. You don’t need to read music and you don’t need to play an instrument: anyone can sing in the choir, or play percussion instruments.
We’re creating an orchestra and choir of all ages and abilities, led by composer and inspirational workshop leader Tim Steiner and guided by vocal guru Anna Flannagan along with members of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Everyone will get a chance to join in, be creative, and take part in a unique performance! Almost any instrument you can carry can take part: from accordion to trumpet, violin to clarsach, bassoon to bagpipes.
